I started out as most do, with crayons, cheap paper, and modeling clay. I like to think I've improved over the years, graduating to more expressive (and expensive!) materials.
I have a Bachelors of Art, with a concentration in Metalsmithing. After graduating, I no longer had access to a studio, and turned to beadwork to fill my creative void. I've been beading for years, learning new stitches and techniques, and I still love it.
Periodically, I'll pick up some beads again, but I'm excited to have finally come full circle! I have my own studio set up, and can once again pierce, braze, and set stones in metal! I still love working in copper, but silver is my new favorite.
Oh, sweet silver, saws, and stone settings, how I've missed you!
