Knotted Bracelets with Tibetan Influence

These are two macrame/knotted bracelets with a slipknot closure. The large center beads are silver plated with an awesome design on them! The beads were given to me in the form of earrings and I reused them here. They are over an inch long and a little chunky for earrings, I thought!

The design reminds me of Eastern patterns, especially Tibetan motifs. I could certainly be wrong, however, as these were a find, not a buy! But that is what they remind me of.

I left much of the tarnish in place, but it can easily be polished off. The other beads are also re-purposed, and I'm not sure their material. A couple might be silver plated, the others are probably pewter or other base metals. As a complete bracelet, however, these beads make it nice and light-weight!
